Background and how to apply

I'm embarrassed to say this, but it's been some time since I posted a background of my own.
Can someone give me instructions as to what to add to the advanced CSS box to apply a background of my own.

Yet another Blogger Malfunction (solved) for now....

Seems lately every time I turn around Blogger is playing havoc with my blog.  The last few weeks the problem was with my comments posted not showing up, now today it seems I log in but my nav bar still says log in.  It seems I can post and add images but I have no pencil visible for editing a post, and I have to go through the woods, jump over a bush then paddle 10 miles to get to a possible way to edit my post.

This is really starting to become a rather pain in the butt.  Hopefully Blogger/Google gets this fixed before I start thinking seriously about WordPress .......................aaarrrrrrgggghhhhhhhh!

Anyone else experiencing difficulties with their blog, please don't say it's just me, I don't think my heart could take it bout now!  LOL!

Here's a good one, I just now had to sign in " which I already was" to have a way to sign out through editing a post. I shall have a cry now!

Blogger Recent Comment Errors

Just thought I would ask, is anyone else having "Recent Comments" errors.  This has been going on intermittently for the past week, " An error occurred fetching the feed data."

Curious as to …………….

Curious, as to which textures you prefer or use the most.

I make textures for two reasons, one is to use mostly as a color filter
with a hint of texture like the one shown on the bottom on the left.
The other is to add a strong presence of texture, like the one shown on
the bottom at right.
Which do you use most, personally I tend to use them as a colored filter more often.
How about you!

Pearltrees, Organize, Discover and Share Bookmarks Neatly

I just found out about this remarkable tool, so I jumped at the offer and thought I would pass this on to you, my friends, thinking it may be of use and a new way to organize/bookmark the things you discover very neatly.

Shhhhh, it Happens!

Yeah, yet another layout change, actually I'm undecided as to whether I'm a candidate for ADD,OCD or I'm a background whore. 

Thought I would try something a little different, so I thought I would use a "WORDLE" creation as my background, then I applied my "Painted Clouds" texture as a layer and lowered the opacity.

If you're interested in the "Wordle" idea, you can find it HERE. 
Note of Interest: when you make your Wordle creation, be sure to "Open in Window" and stretch it out to fit your screen and then take a screenshot, whether using the "Print Screen" or your fave screen capture tool and save.
Now you have it larger so it can fit as a background for your blog.

New Look

Yeah, new look, ...again.
I'm bettin' you guys are thinking I've got "ADD" or
commitment issues. 

Truth be, I personally love a dark layout, the images are
presented better, they tend to have a pop to them, but I
agree on the white print on a black background, not cool!

So, due to the nasty summer heat, which has come earlier
than expected, I thought I would go back to a light and
soothing layout,I think it dropped a few degrees already
since posting, now, does this layout make me look fat?

Sadly due to some recent comments/spam I've had to set up review comments before they are posted live.

If By Any Chance ...

Seems I've been tinkering around with Blogger in Draft trying to get my background
fixed "stationary" which was easy on previous blogs I've had, but beings the backgrounds
are supplied with Blogger in Draft the coding is different from other experiences.

If anyone has information on how to make the background fixed in the new Blogger in
Draft layouts, I would deeply and dearly appreciate any help doing so.

My head hurts from dealing with this issue, think I'll rest now!

Seven hundred and counting, I'm deeply touched and dearly appreciative.
Honestly, I enjoy creating my works and more so sharing with others, but to have a
wonderful gathering of  friends and family is a blessing.

A Show of Hands ...

Am I the only poor soul who has sporadic behavior with the post editor?

Seems I have to delete a post and start over quite too often and dealing with
the placement for adding a link is a logistical nightmare.
